KCCA STAFF BRIGHTEN LIVES AT GRACE VILLA SANCTUARY FOR GIRLS IN KABALE
PUBLISHED — 29th, April 2024On a bright Saturday morning, on April 26th at 11:00 am, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) staff arrived at Grace Villa Sanctuary for Girls in Kabale City.
Led by Simon Kasyate, the Deputy Director of the Public and Corporate Affairs department, the team's mission went beyond charity; it aimed at forging genuine connections with the vulnerable souls residing at Grace Villa.
As the gates of the sanctuary opened, the KCCA team was met with a chorus of joyful voices and radiant faces. The air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers as the children, under the nurturing guidance of Ruth Kendegye Ndyabahika, Founder of Grace Villa Foundation, welcomed their guests with open arms and smiling faces.
The KCCA team, carrying a range of essential supplies from soap, sugar to clothing, had journeyed from their retreat and team-building activities at Lake Bunyonyi Safari Resort. This act of generosity was not merely a gesture; it was a testament to the spirit of unity and compassion that defines the essence of community.
Grace Villa is a multi-faceted home and sanctuary for orphaned, abandoned and at risk girls in Kabale.
Amidst the backdrop of Kabale's scenic hills, the exchange of gifts and smiles symbolized a bond beyond words a bond of shared humanity and a commitment to uplift those in need.
Kasyate, in his remarks, not only praised Kendegye's unwavering dedication to the welfare of these children but also echoed a call to action, urging others to extend their support to such noble causes.
The children, in turn, showcased their talents and resilience through heartwarming performances, leaving a permanent mark on the hearts of the KCCA team.
Kendegye, visibly moved by the outpouring of support, expressed her gratitude, acknowledging the invaluable impact of the KCCA staff's contribution to the lives of these precious girls.
The journey of the KCCA staff to Grace Villas was not just a charitable endeavor; it was a celebration of humanity's capacity for kindness and the enduring power of hope in the face of adversity.
