Re-tender for the Procurement of land

1.   Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition  of Land as follows:

a)   Lot 1: Land along the Sentema road corridor/Northern Bypass for a Lorry   

                Park, Bus Depot and a Public Transport Terminal, under

                Procurement Reference number: KCCA/SUPLS/23-24/00057/1                                         

b)  Lot 2:  Land along the Port Bell road corridor for a Lorry Park and Bus Depot under Procurement Reference number: KCCA/SUPLS/23-24/00057/2.

2.   KCCA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3.  Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and is open to all bidders.

4.  Interested eligible bidders may inspect the bidding documents from the KCCA website: https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; and obtain further information from the address below.

5. The Bidding document in English shall be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon emailing a soft copy of the officially written application to: kcrrp.proc@kcca.go.ug; and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX. 100,000/=.

    Note: Bidders who previously purchased the bidding document, and intend to bid again need not to pay the bidding fee again.

The method of payment shall be online [ How to pay ], through the KCCA e-Citie online payment system. The e-Citie system can be accessed from the KCCA website, https://ecitie2.kcca.go.ug/portal/; Payment instructions are also available at https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; Evidence of payment shall be included in the application email. No cash will be accepted. The soft copy of the bidding document will be sent by email, to the applicant’s provided email address upon submission of the full application.     

6.  Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 a.m. on Friday 31st January, 2025. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. The Bid Securing Declaration must be in the form provided in the bidding document, and must valid until Thursday 7th August, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 11:15 a.m. and Friday 31st January, 2025.

7. There shall be a pre–bid meeting in LEAP Centre at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday 15th January, 2025.
