Detailed Bid Notice under Open Bidding for the Procurement of Land for Lorry Parks, Bus Depots and a Public Transport Terminal

Invitation to bid for the Procurement of land

Date: Friday 30^th August, 2024

1. Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition  of Land as follows:

1. Lot 1: Land along the Sentema road corridor/Northern Bypass for a Lorry   

                Park, Bus Depot and a Public Transport Terminal.                                           

1. Lot 2:  Land along the Port Bell road corridor for a Lorry Park and Bus Depot.

2. KCCA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may inspect the bidding documents from the KCCA website: https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; and obtain further information from the address below, if not satisfied.
5. The Bidding document in English shall be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon emailing a soft copy of the officially written application to: kcrrp.proc@kcca.go.ug;, and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX. 100,000/=.
   The method of payment shall be online, through the KCCA e-Citie online payment system. The e-Citie system can be accessed from the KCCA website, https://ecitie2.kcca.go.ug/portal/; Payment instructions are also available at: https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; Evidence of payment shall be included in the application email. No cash will be accepted. The soft copy of the bidding document will be sent by email, to the applicant’s provided email address.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 a.m. on Friday 4^th  October 2024. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. The Bid Securing Declaration must be in the form provided in the bidding document, and must valid until Tuesday 20^th May 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11:10 a.m. and Friday 4^th October 2024.
7. There shall be a pre–bid meeting in LEAP Centre at 11:00 a.m. on Friday 13^th September 2024.
