Invitation to bid for the Supply of Emulsion Spraying Machines Used in Road Maintenance

Procurement Reference number: KCCA/SUPLS/20-21/0569

1. Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of Supply of Emulsion Spraying Machines Used in Road Maintenance.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in 8(a) from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday except on public holidays. 
5. The Bidding documents in English shall be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX. 150,000/=. The method of payment will be by Assessment Forms which shall be processed from the PDU offices at either Room B114 on 1^st Floor, Block B, City Hall.  Payment shall be made in the bank and the bidding document shall be issued to the Bidders or their authorised representatives upon presentation of the general receipt to the PDU office at Room B114. The document shall be issued to the Bidder or their authorised representatives in soft copy.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11:00 am and Tuesday 30^th March, 2021. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX. 4,000,000/=. (Uganda Shillings; Four Millions only) Bid securities must be valid until 1^st November, 2021 and shall be in the form of a Bank Guarantee from any recognized commercial bank in Uganda. Late bids shall be rejected and no liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(b) at 11:30 am and Tuesday 30^th March, 2021.
7. There shall be a pre–bid meeting at Boardroom A108 (DED’s Boardroom) at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday 10^th March, 2021.
