PUBLISHED — 4th, May 2023
Kampala Capital City Authority(KCCA) commissions state-of-the-art source attribution machine to study air pollution sources in the City as they comemorate the Air Quality Awareness Week 2023.
The Machine, installed in the precincts of City Hall in Kampala, serves as a sampler for air, sucking in air, which it passes through installed filters that trap pollutants. These filters are then removed from the sampler and analyzed in the lab to determine the chemical composition of the pollutants.
