  1. The Republic of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Bank Group hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Kampala City Roads Rehabilitation Project (KCRRP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under contracts for Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Roads and Signalization of Junctions in Various Divisions of Kampala Capital City Authority.
  2. Kampala Capital City Authority now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the works described below.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), OCBI procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework of October 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
  2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding document at the KCCA website: https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders;
  3. A complete set of each lot of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of written application(s) to procurement@kcca.go.ug; and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Uganda Shillings 500,000/= or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency per lot. The method of payment will be online, through the KCCA e-Citie online payment system, which can be accessed from the KCCA website, https://www.kcca.go.ug/; Payment instructions are available at: https://www.kcca.go.ug/tenders; Evidence of payment shall be included in the application email. No cash well be accepted.
  4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 Hours on Friday 24th September, 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the KCCA Upper Compound at 11:30 Hours on Friday 24th September, 2021.
  5. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as indicated below.
